Registration

Conference Fees

Your fee allows entry to all technical sessions, plenaries, panels, roundtables, receptions, and the Saturday night baile.  Transportation will be provided for the afternoon/evening in Mesilla and to the baile.

Housing

NMSU will provide housing in Garcia Hall on campus.  All rooms are double occupancy.  Early registration is encouraged space is limited.  Registration will be done on a first-come first-serve basis.  Linen is provided, but you are strongly encouraged to bring your own towels.   Dorm housing fees do not include meals.  Please proceed to the box below to sign up for meals.

Meals

The on-campus plan includes breakfast and lunch for $20 per day in the Taos Restaurant.  Dinner will be provided by the conference on Wednesday and Friday nights.  Attendees will be on their own for dinner on Thursday and Saturday nights. Local eating choices are limited if you do not have a car. Please check our Web site for a list of eateries in town.  There is a small convenience store located on campus for snacks and personal items.  Please notify us if you have special dietary needs by e-mail at malcs@nmsu.edu.

Parking

A parking permit is required for all vehicles parked on campus.  The Police Department's Parking Office has a service to provide visitors to obtain single-day or weekly parking permits before they arrive on campus. Click E-Permit to enter your information, receive and print a parking permit.  When you arrive on campus, you already have a parking your parking pass.  It is that easy!

Hotels

Several hotels in our area have agreed to provide a discounted rate for individuals attending the MALCS Summer Institute.  For a list of hotels in the area, please visit our Web site.   Information on hotels is located under that heading on the sidebar.  The rates for the hotels are also indicated on that page under the name and address of each hotel.  Thank you!
